Derrell Deloach, FNP-C

Derrell has made me uncomfortable at every visit by rubbing my thigh when I sit on the table. If it's not medically necessary to touch me, why do it? I mentioned this to a friend who has attended church with him and she said that's just the way he is. Maybe consider changing that particular characteristic. As a young woman, I don't want a man I barely know rubbing my thigh. After being hospitalized for pneumonia and covid, I was told to schedule an appointment for followup. When I arrived, they weren't sure why I needed one. Derrell is the one who told me to return for a follow-up. I explained I was still having occasional shortness of breath. Derrell came in, asked if I ever experience anxiety, and then prescribed anxiety meds and walked out. As he left he told someone 'that'll get her to calm down'. I'd been quietly sitting on the table and barely said 20 words since I arrived. I hadn't even said 5 words to Derrell.

Derrell takes his time to explain what is going on with you in terms you can understand. He even called me one evening after hours to check in on me after finding out I was admitted to the hospital. Having worked in medical practices most of my life, I would have to say that he is someone I would refer my family and friends to anytime. This guy cares and you leave the office knowing he treated you as an individual with varying health concerns and not just a number or a paycheck. He is one of the good guys in this world and I am thankful I am under his care.

Dr. DeLoach has been a Godsend.

Darrell is an excellent Health Care provider. Better than I have had since my primary Dr. retired. He is caring, understanding and he takes time to listen to me and always remembers everything about not only my medical conditions but my personal life as well. He accepted me as a patient even though I am a 'problem child'. I have some serious medical issues but he was not afraid to accept me as a patient and has been very diligent to take the best of care. I could not ask for any better.
