Dewey Howell, FNP-C

Sorry for the length of this comment BUT I wouldn't be here today if it weren't for Dewy Howell. Approx. 2 years ago I went to my primary care doctor, I was told he was the best there was around here. I went with pressure in my chest and strange feelings in my left arm. My EKG came out normal and I continued to explain how I felt, but like most people he didn't listen and sent me home. Later on the pressure got worse so my husband took me to the urgent care that Dewy worked for at the time and he said that something was not right and sent me for a test at the hospital. He then informed my husband to bring me to Statesboro Hospital where they brought me to the Cath Lab and put stints in my heart. Now 2 years later and under Dewy's wonderful care as well as my Cardiologist I think I am better than I was 2 years ago. I have 11 Stints with my last ones put in 1 year ago. I know this is my personal opinion but I would stake my life on Dewy's care and advice .... in fact I did stake my life

Dewey Howell is just about one of the nicest providers Ive been to- and as someone with an autoimmune disease trust me Ive been to A LOT of providers. I typically prefer female providers, but I felt extremely comfortable being completely open with him. I felt like I was heard, and he seemed genuinely concerned for me and my well being. Because of his care and the staff at Accordia, Im actually considering transferring my care. We need more Deweys in medicine!
