Diana Chaitovitz, LCSW

Diana is the best therapist I have ever had and I have had a lot of them in my 31 years of life. She always has excellent advice and is extremely supportive. She is always there when I need her, even on her days off. I'm extremely lucky to have her as a therapist.

Horrible! She was assigned to see my “functioning” alcoholic husband years ago. I desired to have a meeting with her and my now “ex” hoping to share some more important info I was sure he wasn’t sharing with her...to help him. She initially refused to meet with me. After much effort, she finally agreed. She turned the whole meeting around on me and blamed ME for my ex’s 30+ yrs of drinking? She asked questions of me digging into my childhood and blamed my “fear of his drinking” on my mother’s drinking....which was occasionally too much, but not to the point of abusive like my ex. Diana was rude, insensitive, and all the while, my ex just sat there and snickered as I was the one put on the hot seat. Several counselors later, I finally had the sense to divorce this emotionally, verbally abusive man. Diana should be ashamed of herself. She left me that day in tears after she put ME on the defensive, when it’s my ex who is the alcoholic...and STILL is. I would NEVER recommend her.
