We hired Dr. Terrell for a custody evaluation involving teenaged children. I told my children to trust and confide in her because she was hired to be their advocate. I came to regret that because rather than advocating for my children, she betrayed their confidence, disregarded their statements and advocated for the other party. All in all, it was a very damaging experience.

I saw Dr. Terrell with my husband to discuss custody and what we can do for our children to help them through our divorce. She had seen my husband individually before seeing us together. Unfortunately, she was biased at that point and should not have seen us together. She repeatedly expressed her opinion as that of the court, which she says favors joint custody. When I asked her to show me the research that supports her opinion, she didn't have any.
