My sister has accompanied my parents more than I have. But I believe she was not overly impressed. My experience this morning, an outrageously rude person named Debra returned my call. She was nasty and angry and basically hung up on me. Maybe she's having a bad Monday.

I left Dr Cassarino & found a new Primary bcuz of the same issues mentioned here. I thought she was rude, intimidating and told me to see a psychiatrist due to an anti-anxiety med I was on. Told me 1mg 30 pills had to last me 4-5 months instead of 30 pills I was on for 1 month. It is the lowest dose & I've been on it for years. I immediately found a new PCP. Obviously she doesn't know how to treat anxiety & didn't care that I was upset & scared due to her wanting to drastically change the dose. I would have ended up in the hospital!

Needs sensitivity training and updated DEA license. It was suggested I see Ms. Cassarino for a neurological disorder had been diagnosed. I had been placed on significant drugs and I was having reactions that were so severe I planned to commit suicide. I went to her for help, because of the recommendation on the prescription . The ignorant nurse who showed me to the exam room told me “Doreen will help you with your menopausal symptoms”. (Some training is needed for her.) Doreen yelled at me for being depressed, told me to stop researching my condition, wrote a prescription for additional drugs, and told me to see a psychiatrist. Her lack of sensitivity was astounding. Her complete ignorance of drugs was criminal. I went home to end my life. A random stranger stopped me. She convinced to stop taking drugs. I did. My suicidal condition stopped. I found the right doctors to help. Surgery was the option and I’m not taking any drugs. I love life!

She is informative, thorough, and explains test results well. I appreciate that she found an issue and recommended a specialist (who I also liked) to further test what she found. I found my physical more detailed than any I ever had up north. I started bringing my 85 year old father-in-law there to see her as well (he is a new seasonal visitor), she treats him with respect, and takes the time to make sure he understands what she is telling him.
