Dorissa Brivchik, PA-C

I a m a 75 year old, blue eyed, redhead who has worked outdoors for 25 years. So, you know I have skin problems. Since I began seeing Dorissa, my skin has improved 100%. She finds every little thing and gets rid of it. I have had actinic keratoses, basal cell carcinomas and squamous cell carcinomas. She know the perfect treatment in every case. She is kind, patient and thorough. She is, 'Simply the Best!' I reccomend her to anyone who has skin issues.

Front desk staff was very friendly. That was the best part of the visit. Waited beyond my appointment time in the waiting room. Even though on the phone when making my appointment I had requested a whole body check, I was told I was only scheduled for a spot check. Medical assistant was abrasive. PA spent maybe 2 minutes in the exam room with me. Was asked if I'd like to reschedule for a complete check. After a $70 copay, no thanks.

If I could leave a negative point, I would. It was terrible experience, this PA flew into the room stayed for less 3 mins, and left. No instruction was given of the med prescribed, no explanation of the disease process. very inpatient, could not care any less.

I saw Dorissa for a couple different reasons. Hair loss and an unusual red mark on my forehead. If I could give her negative stars I would! The most important thing to note is she did a full body check and looked closely at the spot I was concerned about. Said it was nothing. Just a sun spot. Then we discussed my hair. Simply gave me options and when I asked for her thoughts on help to decide what would be best for me- “All and can give you are the options (etc) you have to make that decision” Then stood quiet with her arms crossed. I actually had tears it was such a cold/awkward conversation. So-I decided to get a second opinion. Glad I did!!! My new dermatologist just informed me today that the spot is actually BASAL CELL CARCINOMA! I will be going back to have Mohs surgery to get it all out!! I also had a caring conversation concerning the hair loss and unlike Dorissa, she saw regrowth on my scalp and we have come up with a plan together. ALWAYS trust your gut!

Dorissa is professional and knowledgeable. She is very friendly and takes the time to answer any questions you may have. I never feel rushed. She helped me with a condition i had for years before with another dermatologist. Her approach has helped me to have clearer skin and now just manage any flare ups. I absolutely love her, she is the best!!! I would recommend Dorissa to family and friends.
