I had never met a judgmental medical health professional, until today. It caught me off guard when less than five minutes into my conversation with Dr. Moon I felt as if she had already decided my concerns were illegitimate. She made broad statements about the "situations she had seen in the past," and tried to delegitimize my circumstances by misinterpreting my words. By the time I ended our conversation, she apologized multiple times, said she hoped this had not turned me off to therapy.
