We are so grateful to have met Drake a little bit over a year ago. From the minute we met him, it was clear that he would be an invaluable partner to us in our son’s speech journey. His initial evaluation was thorough and honest. He put us at ease during what was a very stressful and challenging time with our son who was two and still not speaking. The connection that Drake was able to make with our son was instant. He understood him seemingly innately and targeted his therapy to his specific needs in a way that never felt like “work,” but was truly fun for our son. It is amazing looking back and seeing how far our son has come and we owe so much of it to Drake. Today, we have a little boy who is saying the funniest things and expressing himself in ways we never thought possible. In addition to being a remarkable partner (and friend) to our son, Drake made us feel so comfortable. He always made himself available to discuss our son’s progress and to share important updates.

We are so thankful for Drake's incredible work. Our son had a feeding tube and multiple health complications that led him to only eat and drink liquids. By working with Drake, our son has learned to eat a wide variety of table foods. We can now take our son to any restaurant and he will eat! This changed his life and our lives. Drake is incredibly patient, kind and super specialized and hard-working. He created a customized lesson plan and goals for our son, and has helped him tremendously. Thank you, Drake!

Drake was incredible with my 5 year old little girl who had a number of common mis pronunciations. I was AMAZED at how quickly she warmed to him and how engaging he was with her. I was nervous post covid, especially with an often shy child, but he had her feeling comfortable immediately. He gave us papers each session outlining things for us to practice at home, which enabled us to extend the learning beyond the sessions and she made quick and steady progress. We could not have been happier with his support. Highly recommend.

We had an excellent experience with "Uncle Drake" and our son (< 2 yrs old). Drake provided us with many tools, techniques, and creative ways to help improve our son's eating and both verbal and non-verbal communication. Drake always provides a fun and caring atmosphere and worked effortlessly with our son. We are fortunate to have worked with Drake and highly recommend him for your child's needs.

There are not enough good things to say about Drake. Our son wasn’t talking at 20 months but within a few short weeks of working with Drake, he was able to communicate his basic needs and within a few months he was talking non-stop. Drake worked his magic and “unlocked his brain”! Drake was able to accomplished this with our son while also incorporating his twin sister (who was already speaking in complete sentences) into sessions. He is a smart and talented clinician who is amazing with children! He is fun and energetic yet has a calming demeanor all at the same time. We all looked forward to our weekly sessions with Drake…the kids loved playing with him and we felt lucky to have him on our team helping our son!

We feel so lucky to have found Drake and are forever grateful for the incredible work he did with our 3.5 year old!!! The improvement in his vocabulary + pronunciation was astounding - everyone from family to teachers commented on what a difference there was over the course of a few months. Best of all, our son was able to express himself which helped him in his friendships and enjoying pre-school more. Thank you Drake!!

Our 4 year old son has worked with Drake weekly for close to a year. My son would look forward to seeing him each week as he made the sessions fun. Drake would create games my son would enjoy, while using his skills to help him improve his speech. He would also give ideas of ways to help at home which also helped out tremendously. Our family had a phenomenal experience with Drake. He was amazing with our 2yr old son who had weekly visits for nearly a year. Drake created a bond with our son, and made the sessions about pairing play time with exercises, speech and language. Going to see "Mr. Drake" quickly became one of our sons favorite activities during the week. It felt like we had a team all working together to achieve a common goal. Further he helped teach us the things we should be doing at home, as well as explained the various parts of speech development and things to be mindful of as our son progressed. Drake is extremely talented at what he does. He has a way with children that’s natural and helps their needs in a very professional yet comforting way! He really is the best and was able to address my daughters needs immediately - we will miss going to him!

Drake has worked with my daughter for several years, at first consistently and as she got older, when she needs to work on something specific. He is extremely patient, kind, and just gets kids. He could always tell when my daughter needed a break or needed to change the activity. He is a wonderful speech therapist and a pleasure to work with. Drake has worked with my son for a few years and I could not be any more pleased. Drake’s personal interaction with the family and student is exceptional. He is professional, friendly and loves working with children. He has always been aware of my son’s needs regarding speech pathology even before I raised any additional concerns. I can not say enough about how helpful and supportive Drake has been in helping my 10 year old son through his selective eating challenges. From the moment Drake met Alex, he found ways to connect with him and lessen Alex’s anxiety around food. He uses creative approaches to motivate and encourage Alex to try new foods and embrace them. He reads Alex really well and never pushes or forces him to do anything he isn’t comfortable with which makes Alex want to try hard to explore foods as much as he is capable of. Drake incorporates games and physical activity breaks into sessions as needed and has developed a wonderful relationship with Alex. In the time that we have been working with Drake, Alex has become comfortable with trying new foods and has actually added a few healthy staples into his diet like chicken, fresh spinach, and broccoli (on a good day!). I think any family or individual working with Drake would find him to be professional, thorough, caring, and fun.

Dr. Drake provided speech therapy for our 3 y.o. daughter and he was wonderful with her. He was patient, welcoming and knew how to work well with such a young kid. We were very happy with the results and his standard of care. Highly recommend.

Drake was incredible with our son, Jack. We went from being the most frustrated parents, dreading dinner time to so pleasantly surprised to see Jack start exploring new foods. Drake was extremely helpful with our 3 year old daughter. She has articulation and phonology issues. He completed a full speech evaluation, developed a treatment plan and executed on it. After each session he gave us a summary and tools to work with in-between sessions. My daughter talked about Drake all week long and couldn't wait to see him again. In addition to being a expert in his field, he's wonderful with kids. We recommend Drake without hesitation.

Drake helped our son with his articulation at 2.5 years old. Drake gave us many tools and instructions to help him at home so his speech could strengthen beyond his lessons with Drake. His speech strengthened pretty rapidly and he loved spending time with Drake. Drake went above and beyond and would give advice in other areas such as sibling play and oral motor help for my 11 month old who was having a hard time chewing/eating. We are SO grateful for Drake and recommend his services to all!
