I saw eda 3 years back. On the first appointment she seemed sure that all my behaviors where attention seeking. Once my parent left the room, she said those words straight to my face. Imagine saying that to a minor the first chance you got. It made me doubt myself in so many ways. It's been 3 years and although I've looked many times I am still not comfortable with the idea of seeking help anymore. Those words crushed me. She spent most of our sessions talking about her life than anything else.

I had a scheduled session and she couldn't figure out how to send me documents that i could DocuSign for a telehealth appointment. Not helpful and cancelled the session less than 24 hours before the session because I didn't have time to go to Kinkos. Not empathetic. Don't recommend

Interacting with Eda Fushman was really awful and I pleaded with her supervisory board to revoke her license or at least give me a hearing to make a formal case, but they would not. Just trying to schedule an appointment she interrupted constantly and quarreled about the software to conduct an online video session, so I finally suggested a phone call for the first appointment. I really wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt and try to establish her as a counselor because it was so hard finding someone through my insurance. But she called me back, furious, accusing me of trying to get her to commit fraud by scheduling a phone appointment when she was billing the insurance for a video session. Her billing practices were none of my concern and when I finally interrupted her for the first and only time it was to ask permission to speak. She said no, and that I was rude for interrupting, and cancelled our appointment with no concern for my wellbeing whatsoever. Deplorable conduct.

She was very unprofessional in handling my initial intake appointment. Called me 5 hours before I was scheduled to come in to tell me she wasn't comfortable seeing me without a referral, when she had never previously mentioned even needing a referral. I asked her where I needed to get a referral from and she said it didn't matter (as in, no matter where I got one from, she still wouldn't see me). It would be great if she would have been upfront with me about the real reason for refusing me.
