I regularly see Scott to address, understand, and manage my substance abuse, mental health, and personal issues. He knows I do well with examples -- and makes it easy for me to understand things. He makes me feel like I am more capable than I am, but with no judgement or expectations. He is able to identify things quickly, so I can work towards a solution. He does not mince words or try to appease me -- that I appreciate. He just simply wants to know about my problems and how he can help. He helps me see different perspectives, especially when discussing family and friends. My life has greatly improved because of my time with Scott. I would recommend him to anyone - but not if you can't handle hearing reality and honest feedback.

I had an email appointment confirmation with Mr. Dagenfield. When that day arrived I signed on for our appointment, Mr. Dagenfield did not. I messaged him to ensure I had not mixed up the days despite having an email confirmation for that specified date and time. When Mr. Dagenfield responded he was curt and unprofessional. He did not address the fact that he had confirmed the date and time of the appointment that I was awaiting, instead he gave single word answers then another date and time without any explanation or professional ownership of his mistake. As a patient coming to him for an anxiety disorder this exchange was very off putting. Due to Mr. Dangefield's lack of care and professionalism, I felt compelled to seek another therapist. I highly recommended others not engage Mr. Dangenfield to avoid similar situations, I also encourage Mr. Dagenfield to refresh his knowledge on how to appropriately establish rapport with clients.
