Poor Front Office Staff
Still trying to get an appointment and working with Christina (possibly Christine) has been a nightmare. She twice told me she had 8 other patients to verify insurance for and was not interested in helping me get to the bottom of the insurance issues or ways I could help with verification of coverage. (The insurance company has no record of her contacting them.). She asks for preferred appointment schedule although they don’t have great availability and didn’t like my explanation, “I would prefer my child miss as little school as possible”. Apparently I shouldn’t feel this way since my daughter is only in 1st grade. Dr Dunbar came recommended by our school but the staff (particularly this person who verifies insurance) clearly lacks patience and understanding that families needing his services are already at a crossroad and are seeking helpful, supportive, and caring people throughout the ENTIRE office.

After seeing him for years, he abruptly ended treatment without giving me time to find someone else. Very cold, bitter, distant, lacking in compassion or empathy.

With no justification he canceled an appointment for 10 year in need of assistance. The fact someone calls to ask about insurance coverage and asks an insurance question per email is not justification to do this. I would never recommend anyone seek his office help for their children. As a parent, this is just mean and unethical

Untrustworthy. Never felt like he was listening. Just that he was going through the motions. Never really felt like he was there. In the middle of a meltdown, I missed an appointment and he refused to sign my form to be able to receive pay during a medical leave due to not being able to pay for the missed appointment THAT DAY and I didn’t make the deadline and therefore did not get paid for my leave. I was very mentally ill and he let me down. Also wait times were 45+ minutes almost every time.

I had a good working relationship with Dr. Dunbar and the rating would have been higher, if I wasn't dropped as a client via email at a moment's notice without prior warning. Rating would also be higher if I didn't have to frequently wait 20+ minutes after my appointment time to finally see Dr. Dunbar.
