From the begining he was ok.
He pretty much called me a liar more then once. Thinks everyone is the same. Tells me everyone has a motive. Accused me of drinking because i had a drinking friend stay with me. I guess there is no such thing as helping a friend out for just kindness to him. He said theres no such thing as informal probation. If i cant be honest without him treating me like im the next guy would good is he to me. If i were the raging alcaholic he thinks i would have drank.

I’ve been to a variety of counselors over the years. Ed is the first one I’ve felt really listened to me. He is not easy. He makes you work for your mental health. But it is a journey that Is well taken.

Finally a Great Therapist who doesn't answer phones in session. I left 3 other therapists because of that! He was very understanding, patient and always able to respond to voice message or texts. Yeah we did the work work, but he helped my husband and I get back together after an affair.

He is sensitive to my needs. He is real thorough which really helped me from relapsing. Our sessions are comfortable yet very focused.

Ed doesn't listen to you. He will berate you and act like your problems don't matter, which they don't to him because he just wants his check from the court programs for his services. He consistently takes personal calls and will leave you sitting in the middle of a thought to do so. He's not understanding and will tell you you're ignorant if you don't have the same viewpoints as him. I can't wait to go back to my old counselor once I'm finished with the court system.
