Elaine Krantz, MS

My husband and I have worked with many marriage counselors and therapists over the years and finally, Elaine provided us the help we needed to make our marriage last. (Finally no more therapy trauma!) We are celebrating 20 years of marriage and are happily married because of the support Elaine provided us. She offers skills, provides ample opportunity to practice said skills, holds everyone accountable and is not afraid to discuss difficult topics.

Unfortunately Elaine isn't skilled enough to understand when she is being manipulated and lied to. My husband, at the time, went to Elaine for over two years. It has come to light recently that he had the intention to cheat on me for over a year of that time in session with Elaine, in retaliation of long held anger and resentment he felt towards me during our marriage. He continually lied to her about the narrative of what was really going on for over a year. His manipulations and gaslighting inflicted upon me, went completely unchecked. So, while in therapy at least once a month, with him sitting right across from her, the lying and deceit towards Elaine, and myself, was unchallenged and not recognized. No positive growth or healing ever came out his time with her as a therapist the entire length of the therapist and client relationship.

My husband and I had Elaine as our marriage therapist. This was the first time we were seeing a virtual marriage therapist and I was a bit concerned before our first session that the non verbal cues would be missed. I am happy to report I was very wrong. Elaine is extremely observant and can narrow in on the vibe of the couple without being in the room. Her knowledge of Gottman and many other psychology tools and methodologies is vast. While my husband and I were the ones to put in the work I know we wouldn't be in the healthy place we are without Elaine's knowledge, guidance, support and appropriate tough love. We were sad to have to say goodbye even though it meant we, as a couple, were so much better! Everyone needs Elaine in their life because she will only make it better. I'm now looking forward to my next struggle in our marriage so we can meet with Elaine again :)

Careless, unprofessional, insensitive. Really should not be licensed for counseling.

The only complaint I have about Elaine is that she doesn't take my insurance. I would really like to go back to her for counseling.

My wife and I have spend about a year and a half with Elaine and things were in tatters when we started. Elaine has a crisp and clear focus on her patient, which is the relationship, and worked with us to develop a communication skill set we didn't naturally have. While the sessions ranged widely from childhood trauma to recent issues, the focus is always on how that affects the relationship. Admittedly clumsy and fairly awkward at first, Elaine's exercises and tools become much easier to use in time as we developed skill with them, and allowed my wife and I to see each other as both hurting and lonely. The formulaic nature of the tools eventually falls away and we are able to use them naturally. We current have a caring and intentional relationship, and we have Elaine's skill and patience to thank.

My partner and I learned a lot from Elaine. We had a lot of difficulties on how to best communicate during a conflict and Elaine taught us very valuable tools that we can use to make it easier to come back to each other. We use the tools during every conflict and this has made life so much easier. We love the way that Elaine works. She is very knowledgable, wise and fun at the same time. We highly recommend her!

Elaine is incredibly insightful and full of compassion! My wife and I have had previous experience with counselors and can say without reservation that Elaine is at the top of her field. We always felt comfortable and appreciated the honesty and real world perception that Elaine brought to the table. She uses the latest research to help couples see what is causing conflict and help them to learn to both recognize and deal with that conflict in a healthy way moving forward. We can't recommend her highly enough! She's terrific.

Elaine Krantz is a great, great therapist. She is very smart and intuitive. My wife and I went to her with a long list of communication, frustration, hopelessness and trust issues. Elaine and her management of the Gottman methods not only saved our marriage, but gave us a road map for dealing with whatever comes in the future. My wife and I are in love again, and Elaine gets 10 stars on a 1-5 scale.

I went to see Elaine for severe anxiety and depression. I was at a point in my life where i had no skill let alone any knowledge to deal with it but more importantly i was more afraid of the road i was headed down. She helped to give me the skill necessary to beat this without having to rely on meds, which im not a big fan of to begin with. I won't lie i was skeptical at first and no quick fix ever comes over night but with time i learned not just how to overcome it but how to maintain it. Bottom line is i didn't know who i was and honestly thought the old me was dead and could never be recovered. I can easily say that i feel i have a new lease on life strictly as a result of the skills learned from Elaine and the dedication and time she has invested in me. Thank you Elaine!!!

My experience with Elaine was great. she is very well organized and I liked her counseling style. She pays attention to details as well as holding to the big picture. she is a great listener and understands you through your words. I found it very easy to trust her and open up about the challenges I was dealing with. I am among the minority population of Colorado with different culture and family background from the majority. I appreciated the way she tried to understood me and helped me based on my background and character. My experience with Elaine was a turning point in my life. I made big decisions and huge progress in my personal life.

My experience with Elaine has been phenomenal. She approaches challenges and worries with empathy and insight. She provided me with a lot of practical ways to improve myself or adjust my perspective, and she did it while remaining grounded and impartial, which is really important to me. I've been to quite a few therapists in the past and sometimes it's hit or miss in terms of finding someone offering a down-to-earth perspective which challenges your mindset in the right ways while still taking your concerns seriously. I imagine it's a fine balance, but Elaine is so talented at this. If you're looking for someone to offer a grounded approach, empathy, and an insightful perspective, look no further.

Elaine is wonderful! She helped me make real, tangible progress during the hardest season of my life. She always paid attention to every detail of what I was going through and gave me helpful tools that have made a real difference. She challenged me and helped me grow in so many valuable ways. I’m so grateful for her wisdom, support and guidance. I highly recommend Elaine!

Ms. Krantz is phenomenal and has changed my life. This is what she was born to do. She’s a gift, and worth the drive wherever you are. She’s helped me get my life back. She respects me, gives me amazing insight and she has been worth every minute, every dollar, every day I’ve spent with her. I’ve seen many counselors before and no one has ever been such a perfect fit OR cared so much. I’m new to CO but would say not to bother wasting your time anywhere else. She’s worth it and so are YOU.

Elaine is THE BEST therapist I have ever met. She’s a realist, highly detailed, professional, & preps for your appointment. She guides you & gives you tools, info etc to assist for YOUR situation. She teaches life skills & educates you. I don’t know what I would have done without her coaching me through the most difficult time of my life. When you struggle to find the words she helps provide dialogue to put your feelings in your own words & change your tone. Her appointment app is simple.

We highly recommend Elaine for couple's therapy. When we began seeing Elaine, we were in a terrible place in our relationship. Elaine has given us the tools to work on building our relationship. Not only does she have a vast amount of knowledge, she has a way to convey it in a manner that is easily understood. Above her knowledge is her genuine care and concern for both the individual and the couple.

Elaine Krantz is a phenomenal therapist! I have been to a few therapists and have never walked out of the office feeling like I resolved issues. Elaine is very intuitive and helps you express the hidden issues behind the problems at hand. I have recommended her many times and I have been told she is a miracle worker! My husband and I will continue to go to her to maintain a healthy and happy marriage. She is a great marriage counselor and personal therapist.
