When she came into the room, she asked what was the problem and did not shake my hand I informed her that I had cut myself while shaving and that I thought the area was infected as I was having tenderness and pain. She completely ignored my concern, and in a condescending tone "Ever heard of herpes" (who hasn't). I am a virgin. She rushed through the pelvic exam and responded dismissively that she didn't see anything. No resolution had to go elsewhere.
