This woman has the ability to make you feel less than. I would rather go without than sit in front of a stranger emotionally naked and have them talk down to me. I don't know how she's even a physicians assistant. She has no empathy & don't try to tell the owner of the practice because "she's not going anywhere, so get use to her". Watch when her nasty,hateful attitude pushes someone over the edge & you have their blood on your hands. We'll see where your practice goes after that!

Incredibly rude and cold-hearted. From the moment I walked into the room, I knew that I wasn't going to get a proper diagnosis or a proper treatment. For a mental health professional, she is extremely judgemental, which is the last attribute anyone in this field should have. She told me that my symptoms weren't valid; when I asked to speak to the doctor she said that the doctor will "agree to everything I said" and that "you're only hurting yourself." She was so unwelcoming, I don't ever want to step foot in her vicinity again. Also, she gives the dirtiest looks and stares as patients as if they are creatures. She should be fired from this field. Unacceptable!

Positive, professional and helpful. I just cannot imagine where these negative reviews are coming from. Dr. Nwogu did strike me as a no nonsense personality, which works fine for me bc I am as well. I intend to see her again and am most appreciative.

All of these reviews about how bad she is are 100% true. If you go here seeking real help, you will not get it. What you will get is a very cold individual that has no empathy for people & thinks she can diagnose someone in 15 mins without understanding the lifetime of issues that caused the mental problems I seek to be treated for. This doctor is against medical marijuana & she thinks it’s bad for me (someone who was a severe alcoholic drinking 1/5 or more of gin a day for years) who was able to quit alcohol & turn my life around by smoking marijuana. I’ve literary died & been brought back from drinking too much alcohol. Marijuana has never killed me. But, as great as it is, it doesn’t help with the other issues I have which is what I was seeking help for. I have food eating disorders, ocd, severe anxiety that I can’t leave the house (I broke out in tears & was basically dragged to this appt all to have exactly what I feared happen) & even borderline split personality disorder & more

Unempathetic & rude best describe her. I don't know why she is even in this field but she is just plain NASTY. She looks & talks to you like your lying,if she looks or speaks to you at all. Dont bother trying to tell the owner, I tried & he told me she's not going anywhere so get over it. One day she will hurt someone who is vulnerable & have their blood on her hands. She has NO business in the mental health field.

I've been a patient of Elera Nwogo for almost 2 years now. I've never encountered any bad experiences as some of the other reviewers. She is always very pleasant, listens to me, always answers any questions I have, and has always treated me with respect. I actually live about 45 minutes away from her Glen Burnie office location, and I go out of my way to see her for my monthly appointments. Little to no wait time, and they have after-hours appointments available, so I'm able to go AFTER work and not have to cut my day short. The front desk receptionist is also super sweet and thorough. Very glad I'm a patient here!

Bad attitude. Bad hair. Cannot believe she is a medical professional because she anything but professional. I'm mad that my insurance will even be paying for this appointment. It was that bad.

She is ver4y nasty, very arrogant. She refused to write a prescription for medication I had been on for several years. I made an appointment with her boss but she was dispatched instead. Stay clear of her at all costs.

I sat in a session with my brother & Elena was the PA who saw him. From the time he walked in the office, she had a nasty attitude. She spoke down to him as if he was out of his mind and would not even let him verbalize the problem. She kept interrupting him & didn't believe him when he told her his current medication regimen. We showed her the bottle and she still wouldn't help. She went to get the admin to check on a privacy issue for us & we told him she was rude, he told us not to come back.
