Dr. Elisa Mambrino, PHD

We have worked with Dr. Mambrino three times at this point and she is very thorough and detailed with her work. In particular, her reports have been singled out for their clear, well-written prose by educational and psychological professionals we have worked with. She is dedicated to the children, adolescents, and families she works with. She is passionate about getting the analysis right and explaining it clearly to the child and the parents involved. The only reason I did not give a 5-star rating is due to the sometimes cumbersome approach taken with scheduling and correspondence. Everything is done via phone messages (not text) for scheduling or written and then mailed letters for releases etc. I completely respect the need for HIPPA compliance and this is why she operates this way.

Dr. Mambrino‘s assessment of our child was extremely thorough. We appreciated her patience and guidance throughout the process. She took her time talking us through the neuropsychological assessment, prepped us so that we would know what to expect at the appointments, and asked for relevant materials ahead of time. Most importantly, our child felt comfortable with Dr. Mambrino at each appointment. Meeting with Dr. Mambrino to discuss our child’s results was very helpful as well - her honest answers to our direct questions enabled us to help our child.

I would NEVER recommend Dr. Mambrino to anyone!!! For $5K and 2 full days later, she miscued and misinterpreted obvious results to the detriment of our dyslexic daughter. Go to someone else, there are many to choose from!
