Dr. Elizabeth Caven, PSY

Ms Caven was recommended by physician who recognized I needed to talk to someone. Although I have long-term depression, am also in oddball medical situation that worsened during Covid. This doctor and a number of specialists needed to rule out dementia as a factor in my problems. Demetia test was fascinating&complex. I accept her findings regarding my mental function--didn't get the result I had expected, but got info that definitely helps me and my other medical team to better understand how to go forward in the wake of a complicated chronic medical situation. She is open-mind and kind. I would perhaps increase my rating to 5 except that I was was not able to work with Ms. Caven consistently in 2020. We did our best, meeting in person on opposite sides of the room during the early epidemic. I understand that I could have used telehealth contacts, but was was not willing to do so; foolish? I now hope to re-start with Ms. Caven as counselor, if things will work in person. .
