I've been seeing Dr Kacel for several months now. She helped me so much getting over my anxiety with getting back into the workforce after my chemoradiation and managing my complex rollercoaster of emotions. She a great listener, understands your concerns and offers practical, skills-based advice so I can practice better thinking in real life, when my fears threaten to overwhelm. I would highly recommend her.

Absolutely, I would recommend Dr. Kacel without hesitation.. she is a very wise, compassionate, and skilled Psychologist. Her specialty in treating women with gynecological cancers is beyond compare! Dr Kacel listens, understands, then offers meaningful ways to address her patients needs, with practical techniques for better living! I am grateful for the opportunity to talk about my most difficult fears, and be taught new ways to deal with them daily. I have incurable Stage IV cancer with progressive disease newly metastasized to my liver. I asked my oncologist to set up an appointment for me with a therapist to whom I could speak about my fears. After filling out an extensive online questionnaire and after 1 hr of answering a questionnaire with her in person, with me in tears and her offering no sympathy, I finally got a chance to say, “I’d like to talk to someone who understands cancer diagnoses with whom I can discuss my fear of dying.” Then she told me, “If all you want is a place to vent, I am not the person for you.” She wasted 1.5 hours of the little time I have left in my life, offered no sympathy or support. Extremely disappointed with her lack of professionalism.
