Elizabeth Lemke, PA

I found Ms. Lemke to be very unprofessional. She was an hour late to a telehealth intake appointment. It took me years to get the courage to book the appointment and I was really nervous. I said I had been waiting a long time on hold and would appreciate acknowledgement of the inconvenience, but Ms. Lemke instead became combative and defensive, refusing to do so, blaming a long, hard day but never apologizing. We all have hard days at work, but part of being a professional is not revealing one's bad mood to clients. She refused to give me the assessment I had requested, but did not share exactly what criteria were necessary to allow it until I asked for specifics. She also neglected to share until the end of the appointment that an assessment would not happen that day anyway.Summary: I already felt terrible (hence the appointment), but she knowingly made me feel much worse. Fortunately, all other providers at this practice have been professional, personable, and helpful.

She was very rude and unprofessional, she brushed me off and cut me off in conversation a lot and jumped to conclusions. She said I was on drugs when I said I lost 15lbs in a month from normal daily exercise and eating healthy.. unacceptable!.

I had a very comfortable experience with Dr.Lemke as my psych. Some psychs can seem rather cold or in a rush to get to the next person. Dr.Lemke actually sits and talks with you instead of rushing you out the door. Dr.Lemke was also very knowledgeable and down to earth. I had an overall very pleasant experience :)

I went in for my 1st appt today. A college intern brought me into a GP-style exam room & insisted on taking my vitals. I refused. She did not ask me if it was ok w/ me or give me any choice. The office knew beforehand that I have PTSD & social phobia. I’ve never had vitals for a psych consult before. I don’t think my insurance would pay for that. Also because of PTSD, I’m not ok with unplanned physical contact. I had no choice but to walk out. This was very frightening & gave me a panic attack
