Elizabeth Mitchell, LCSW

I'm not exaggerating when I say I wouldn’t be here today without Ms. Mitchell. I found her during a rough time in my life when my anxiety was so bad I could barely stand. She’s helped me through every rough patch since, making me stronger than before. Ms. Mitchell's advice saved me from major life-altering choices, and I'll be forever grateful for her. While the truth often hurts, she delivers it with unmatched empathy. We share a similar sense of humor, and she's not afraid to keep it real, which I wholeheartedly appreciate. I also respect the relaxed environment she creates, where dressing up in formal attire isn't required.

She's completely straightforward and absolutely won't tiptoe around sensitive issues. Her office is very casual, something I love since it makes it a lot easier to talk. Also, a huge thing: she's totally ok if you don't know what you want to talk about and will take the lead asking you questions. I haven't experienced that with any other therapist. She is by FAR the best therapist I've ever had.

Ms Mitchell was the least empathetic counselor I have seen. She wore shorts. I was aghast. The first and only session was completely devoid of warmth. I broke down in tears at least onceDue to my situation. She was unmoved. I should have asked for a refund.

Calm, focused, and attentive. Just what I need. Not sure why someone would be rating her staff since she does this out of her home.
