Dr. Penland totally contradicted everything she said to me during my appointment to discuss a psych evaluation I needed for a surgery approval. Her written report was very inaccurate and the suggestions she made she didn't give me assistance on how to accomplish. I'm glad she wasn't able to take me on as her patient because I do not trust her.

I sat in with my elderly dad in 2 sessions. Good experience for someone (me) who always wondered what a visit to the Psychologist would be. Mostly just chatting and getting to the issues at leisure. She did not speak down to us or act like we were crazy, so that was a relief! She did mention some of her personal life, like her dogs, but that was not a big part of the conversation. Yes, she does run late around 15 min, and admits it. Otherwise, good experience.
