Padding her payments

I had my medical record transferred to Dr. Snyder's office so that my eye record would be complete. At my routine appointment there was no diagnosis or treatment of my dry eye condition. She billed my medical insurance for a medical dx even though she did nothing to dx or treat the condition. She was paid by two insurances, I ended up with two copays. The glasses that I purchased had several features that had a range of possible costs to me. Every feature on my glasses were billed at the highest end of the range of cost. When I spoke with Dr. Snyder about my concerns she was very flippant in stating that any exam of my eyes " of course I examined the condition and diagnosed it; that is part of every exam". There were no symptoms at that time, a year after my last MD visit for the condition. If she bills for every medical condition the senior population walks in with, she is optimally supplementing her income. I will find another eye care provider.
