Dr. Ellen Butts, OD

My daughter is a young woman with many developmental challenges. Dr. Butts was patient, thorough and more helpful than any other eye doctor we have seen. My daughter cannot participate in a typical vision and eye health assessment. After patiently interacting with my daughter in as best exam that can be given, Dr. Butts explained the process for getting a more accurate vision and eye health assessment; something I have attempted to get for the past three years. More importantly - she followed through on getting it done!

I went to see Dr. Butts for help improving my vision which is in decline. I have a severe astigmatism and am very unhappy with my current glasses. She wrote me a script for reading and distance. The reading glasses needed an adjustment as they were too strong and making me seasick and giving me headaches. She did not revise the glasses but instead told me to go to lens crafters because they had some special type of lens??? I have never had a Dr. not take care of a script that was not working and revise the pair. She showed zero compassion or interest in helping me get a pair of working glasses...which I had already paid her for. She also insinuated that the decline in my vision was because of my age? I'm only 47! This office is a complete rip-off, they are very nice and friendly until you need real help.

FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE. SHE IS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT EYE AND OTHER DISEASES. I HAVE NEVER MEET SOMEONE SO COMPETENT. HER BEDSIDE MANNES IS A BREATH OF FRESH AIR IN THIS RECENT CLIMATE OF INCOMPETENCE

Dr. Butts is very unprofessional, ignorant and inpatient. She missed out important information that should be written into your medical records after your visit.

dr butts was fantastic I have had a lot of bad visits with eye doctors lately and she treated me great explained everything to me understood my nervousness helped me fill relaxed and answered all my questions will gladly recommend her to anyone who asks

Dr. Butts is a very caring person. She took the time to examine my wife and was pleasant the whole time. She goes the extra mile to make sure the patient leaves satisfied.
