Excellent counselor who was sensitive to my situation and was supportive when I lacked it in other places. Very helpful with energizing me to start fresh, mindfulness, and focusing on what is important.

Emily Gordon forced me to make a commitment to her availability, with a predetermined sliding scale fee, that she AGREED UPON. I indicated to her that I am in a tough spot with my job, and that committing to her availability would be difficult for me, but I would try. Doing so resulted in hundreds of lost weekly income for me, however I was able to make an appointment, as I am need of a therapist as a requirement for my professional advancement. Emily went back on her word about the agreement, and proposed terms that were less than favorable for me. I asked her why such a change was made, and she refused to share. I emailed her twice asking for an explanation, as I was experiencing lost wages, as well as lost opportunities with other therapists. I heard nothing in return from her. Not even an indication that she had canceled my appointment. It took a phone call to the business manager to even by addressed by Emily, and was when I experienced egregious lack of professionalism.
