Emily Rentas, LMHC

I saw Emily for nearly a year and I am so grateful to have found her. Being a first generation Latina who is focused on career and experiencing a lot of transition, it was important to have someone that could understand the influence my culture played in all aspects of my life, including mental health. There were so many things Emily helped me uncover that were contributing to my anxiety and depression. She is filled with so much knowledge and has the right balance I needed of being an empathetic listener but also firm when necessary. Every time we met I knew that she was truly listening and genuinely wanting to provide me with the tools necessary to succeed. I am entering this next phase with a much better mindset and able to recognize when I am falling back on old habits. Everything I learned from my time with her I will make sure to continue implementing and share with my friends and loved ones. Again, thank you so much Emily!
