Enid Gildar, MA CCC-SLP

Gildar & Associates seems to be quite the shady business. My son was seen very briefly by Enid and I had several concerns. Firstly after my son's initial speech observation I was never provided with the report. I asked several times and was told it would be sent home with him; never received it. My son was seen at his school location so when I called to make the payment for his services, I was advised that the office only takes cash or check. Mrs. Gildar has been a tremendous help with our daughter who started speech therapy when she was two because she wasn't talking. Within a year, she made great progress. She now has a vocabulary of a few hundred words and can put a few words together in a sentence. Mrs. Gildar also taught us how to deal with some of her misbehaviors which happened especially when she got frustrated. We highly recommend her.

Mrs. Gildar is great. She is enthusiastic and playful with my child. "T" always looks forward to going to therapy. He was very difficult to understand but after 6 months of treatment my friends and family tell me they can hear a difference. We still have a way to go but we are so happy with the service and guidance we have received. I highly recommend Gildar and Associates.

Mrs. Gildar was so helpful in guiding us and helping our grandchild gain speech and language. He started at two years old with only a few words. Now at four, although he still has some issues, he speaks in 4--5 word sentences and is much more easily understood. We are particularly grateful with how Mrs. Gildar always took time to explain what she was doing in therapy and why. She always showed us how to carry sounds and concepts into his everyday life.
