Erika Vance was a lifesaver last evening. I walked into the clinic around 4:30 p.m. with a sore throat, bad ear ache, cough, and sinus troubles. She was the nurse practitioner that evening. After the examination of my ears and listening to my chest and heart, she offered me a steroid shot, antibiotics and a steroid packet along with a nasal spray. I felt pretty lousy at that time, but after picking up my medicine at the pharmacy and going home to rest, I felt about 50% better before bedtime. My hearing had come back in my right ear and sore throat was going away. (I had that sore throat for a week!) I am writing this in the A.M. of the following day to say that my sore throat is almost gone and I feel 75% better. Started taking my antibiotics this morning and look forward to getting back to normal soon. Thank you so much, Erica Vance, for the good care.
