Erin Barber, LMHC

I was seeing Erin for over a year in therapy for grief counseling. I ended up seeing her associate that she oversaw for a year as well. I followed Erin Barber from Pathways Counseling to her new therapy office she is now located at. Upon moving therapy locations her ways of counseling drastically shifted. She told me I would be doing EMDR therapy and come back to her if I wanted to or stay with her associate mental health intern. I decided to stay with the intern and realized how unprofessional and unhelpful both started to become. I was advised that I would be working with the mental health intern for awhile until I felt like I was okay since I was working thru traumatic events. I had another traumatic event happen and my mental health intern told myself and my mother she would be there for me every step of the way. Come to find out it was mostly a lie. I had to figure out another therapist to process my trauma during an ALREADY difficult time that the both of them could've helped me!
