Erin Robbins

I had seen Erin for a few months with issues surrounding my elderly mother's attempted suicide, my current relationship and discontent with my job. There was a fair amount to unpack as I had not done therapy in many years. However, after a few months, we went from once a week to once every other week. Then something devastating happened for me...an argument/miscommunication in which my most long-term, beloved friend told me not to call her again. She shut me down, cut off all forms of contact, including to her two children who I have loved as my own since the day they were born. I was completely blindsided/devastated. My world had been rocked to the core. After telling Erin what happened, she wrapped up the session by saying we shouldn't continue therapy because I "had no real goals." For the past 1-1/2 years I have been hanging on by a thread and even contemplated suicide. In no way could I recommend Erin. She literally abandoned me at my absolute lowest point of my life.
