Unprofessional and unethical conduct
During our session, Dr. Rankin was persistently disrespectful and abusive. He made belittling remarks about my intelligence and competencies, responded curtly and disrespectfully when I asked for clarification, and raised his voice on multiple occasions. His conduct suggested that he took gratification in denigrating me. Additionally, he included several extraneous comments in his evaluations, including that I should never be allowed to operate a motor vehicle and that I should join the military when I turn 18 to build discipline. He frequently hammered on my attention difficulties in his report, while neglecting to consider that his ill-tempered conduct towards me might have significantly impacted my performance on the administered tests. Throughout our session, I felt uncomfortable and uneasy, and distraught as I left.Based on my experience, I firmly believe that Dr. Rankin should not be allowed to work with patients or conduct research with human subjects.
