Fran Bridges, ARNP

I saw Nurse Practitioner Bridges for sleep apnea.She stated the only reason for this condition in any patient is obesity. She was rude to the other staff because they did not give her my file immediately. She spent more time talking about a marathon runner she admired than discussing my test results or any specifics about my health condition. She was dour, rude and lacked any positive regard for me as a patient, or for her colleagues. I do not think she smiled or showed any encouragement during the incredibly rushed appointment I had. She gave zero insight as to my prognosis, potential treatment and any information I received had to be pulled from her. The reception staff and particularly the other nursing staff were wonderful: professional, prompt and very friendly. Fran Bridges’ communication skills are deplorable, and her lack of professionalism reflects very poorly on an otherwise professional office. I would never recommend her to someone seeking quality medical care.

Did not care about the symptoms I presented with and never viewed the records I handed, but assumed a diagnosis. Did not order any tests or offer an explanation. Also seemed to be bothered by the length of my very brief visit. I will not be back.

Great doctor, helps me take great care of my sleep apnea. Very knowledgeable and great bedside manner. Doesn't dictate but rather presents all available options.

I found her dismissive and rude. Saying my weight was the reason I could not breath. I had been diagnosed in NJ by a great, caring lung specialist with stage 2 COPD and sleep apnea. Since leaving that practice, I had a severe exacerbation and was hospitalized for over a week. My oxygen levels were at 87. Unfortunately I am at the beginning of stage 4 COPD I have a really good Dr. now in Gainesville. Unfortunately I wear oxygen 24/7 now. Fran always acted dismissive if I asked for a sample medicine, as if it was coming out of her pocket. She always dismissed my lung Dr from NJ. If your looking for a good kind health care professional with compassion find another as Ms Bridges is rude and dismissive
