I was diagnosed with anxiety four years prior to seeing Fran. I came to her for anxiety and anxiety only, she ended up putting me on something for bipolar disorder which I found out later on. I was not educated enough myself so I was not aware of what was normal. She handed me what to take the first time I saw her and my dosage kept going up. She later brought up bipolar and I realized what was happening. I was severely misdiagnosed and not given enough information about the effects of what I was going to be taking. When asked about traditional anxiety medication she had a lot to say about why it doesn’t work well. I went to another provider and got on traditional medication and have been amazing since. Please find someone else, she is not to be trusted, it’s very scary what she is doing.

Was seen by Fran last week seemed competent but quirky. I am having a lot of work stress and have been diagnosed recently with long term physical issues, which unfortunately entails a lot of testing and time. Recently I have been having anxiety and depression that goes along with all of these things. Fran suggested I take a LOA and offered to write me out right then and there. I considered my employer, had three shifts where they absolutely needed me and did not want to suddenly let them down. Fran told me to work them and then come in on Tuesday when she would be there, let the staff know I wanted to take the leave and she would write me out. She said this with complete conviction. However, when I called on Tuesday I was told she was too busy to do that, call back on Thursday and then I was told Thursday that she never said that, I have an appointment next week maybe it could be considered then? I did not come in asking for a leave, she suggested it and when she did it was like a l

When I first started having issues I went to her, and she was helpful. It was when the going got tough and I needed professional help the most that I was unable to get it. I tried to reschedule appointments and could rarely, so when I missed one after not being able to get a hold of office staff, I was no longer considered a patient and thrown to the wind without treatment or medication. If I wanted to be a patient again I would have to be put on a six month waiting list.

Unbelievably unprofessional... While my mom fought cancer the last few months, I was a full-time caretaker. When her health improved, I tried to resched. a missed appt. Granted, I was 2 months past the req. 6 month check-up, but rather than calling to find out that I was dealing w/ extreme circumstances, or help me in anyway at all, Burns had her assistant call to tell me she'd no longer be treating me. She didn't care if I ran out of the psych meds she prescribed & told me not to stop taking.

Scripts were not written out correctly, important paperwork not filled out in a timely fashion, very rude and acting defensive when you make a suggestion. Prescribes old medications ..will not consider new ones. Horrible provider. I would rather go into a different county.

It was awesome. She was able to diagnose what was wrong with me within 90 minutes of me sitting down and talking to her I absolutely love her I wouldn't change that for the world
