It took longer than expected to get an appointment as they needed my records from previous dr in NM which required a lot of phone calls and then pulmonary saying they didn’t receive them. Once I finally saw the doctor he didn’t do much. I was wanting to arrange to get a new bi-pap machine as mine was more than 5 years old and the lid of the water reservoir wasn’t closing properly. He ordered a sleep study. Okay, I expected that. It took 6 weeks to get the sleep study as the dr didn’t send the request in for 2 weeks. After the sleep study, I called every week to get the results and kept getting excuses like the clinic must not have sent it to we can’t find it to the dr doesn’t have time to review it. Two months after the sleep study the order is finally in. I waited 2 weeks and called the vendor. Now they say the order didn’t include a new machine. So now the patient advocate is looking into it for me but we are coming up on four months since I started trying to replace my machine.
