Dr. Procota comes from a defensive position each time I visit her. She s more concerned with covering her asks against policies she doesn't understand nor explain. She shows little to no compassion or understanding of my disorder. She took me off the medication that's worked for me for 29+ years, then prescribed medications my insurance wouldn't cover, leaving me completely unmedicated and socially paralyzed. She was more concerned with my A1C level than my anxiety disorder.No.

I feel this, provider is a wolf in sheep's clothing and I have numerous concerns about her practice. I am aware of three other clients who have felt the same way and removed loved ones from her care. I further feel, on a personal level, that she has made significant errors in medications and has shown abject apathy in responding to these.

Dr. Prochoda cares more about her policies than her patients. For a doctor that works with people with mental illness, Dr. Prochoda displays little compassion for their situation. She also, cares little about the families of these patients that must work and also get their mentally ill family member to many appointments. My family is very disappointed in our treatment by Dr. Prochoda and her office.

I appreciate this individuals knowledge as previous experiences with the only medicaid contractor in Colorado Springs were just scripted same 8 questions and then you left and the appointments there were only about 15 minutes. At this office I had an hour session and was pleased to be heard, if you can make the drive it is definitely worthwhile.

I would like to add that if anyone is in crisis or need of immediate help, please seek out one of the 24 hour mental health services. Dr. Fredi is great for maintaining and adjusting treatment plans BUT, she is not an emergency contact. I am a patient who suffers from depression and the best thing you can do in crisis is call a suicide hotline or use crisischat.org. Both are completely free! Also, finding a therapist who will help you cope with negative thinking will help immensely. It'll be ok.

I must chime in and say that Dr. Prochoda DOES care. I understand that scheduling can be difficult with her limited hours but if you express your need to be seen, she will make it work to the best of her ability. This is her practice but, she has another job on the side, so please try to understand that. She really does care, but she also has policies that must be respected, especially considering she's one of the rare psychiatrists that takes health insurance.

Awful. I got pulled over on my way to see her and was late for an appointment. Even though I was on the phone with the receptionist while the cop was writing me a ticket, Dr Prochoda still refused to reschedule me. I understand punctuality is important, but seriously? Be a human being. Sometimes these things happen. Refusing to see a patient with mental health issues because of something out of their control is not a good practice. It just makes me think she does this for the money.

I love Dr. Prochoda, but trying to schedule an appt. is ridiculous. A month before my next appt they called to say she would now be out that week. So I kept calling in to set a new one. They have a hard rule that they can only make appts while speaking LIVE to the client. If I call the few hours of the week they are actually there, the line is busy and I get the machine. I leave a message, Any Tuesday thats availabe--Just call me back w/ the time and I will call you back to confirm. But Noooo!
