Very unprofessional. Appointment was rushed and Giselle interrupted yelled at me mid-sentence, as her patient, after simply asking a question concerning my care over the phone. I was always respectful to her and did not receive respect or proper treatment in return. If you go to her, just be aware of her quick temper when you have a question to ask. My eye condition did get worse after taking the prescription she claimed had zero side effects (when nearly everything has side effects).

If you're looking for an excellent, caring, vision specialist look no further. Today was my first experience at Hillcrest Family Vision and it was wonderful! Everyone was friendly and very professional. Dr. Giselle Lander is definitely a few cuts above the rest. As busy as she is, she took the time to go over everything with me. She even took time to make sure my prescription was the best for me. I had a bad experience with an optometrist from a well known eye vision establishment earlier this year. But Doctor Lander showed me that there is at least one good, caring, reputable Optometrist still out there. Thank you Dr. Lander!

She's been my eye doctor for over 15 years and I just referred someone to her.

I had been experiencing continual dry eye problems for about three years under the care of another doctor. I went to Dr. Lander, and besides finding out that my prescription was wrong, I was wearing the wrong contacts, and using the wrong r=treatment for my dry-eye. Within a month all of my issues were taken care of. I recently scratched my eye and called the office, and they had me in front of the Dr. within 1/2 an hour. I think that this office is excellent- the staff is friendly and professions. I personally don't care if she wants you to buy your contacts and glasses through her business. I would much rather pay the premium and get excellent service than have to deal with a mail order pharmacy or big box store for problems with my lenses or glasses.

Very disappointed. Went for contacts and glasses. I am an adult and they put me in children's frames. Terrible fit; ear pieces not long enough from ears to eyes. Contacts brought me back no less than eight visits and still did not get lenses I could see out of. Took a complete year going in many times and I still can't see.

Dr. Lander is very intelligent. She altered my script I've been wearing for years, explained why, & I did end up liking it better, however I felt like I was being sold during my visit. She wants you to purchase glasses/contacts from her, so she will tell you that you will save money through her. She said rebates from are only offered through doctors, and her staff told me that online retailers do not accept insurance. Neither is true. I saved $30 (after insurance and rebates) by ordering online.

Staff is nice and kind. The office is clean and Dr. Lander is always professional and caring. She talks to you and she's always concerned. Awesome wish all Dr. Had her professionalism.

Very considerate, friendly and explains things so layman can understand.
