She was pretty cold/sterile for someone who is supposed to be dealing with young children. My daughter was experiencing anxiety and we did a consult with her. She seemed uncomfortable with my daughter who was just acting like a kid (getting up from her chair to be silly and play) She stated “she doesn’t do long term” and had 0 recommendations for doctors who do. Told me to look for a dr on my own. So glad I found a child psychologist who helped my child in just a few visits. We continue to go because she loves her new doctor, not because she needs to anymore. Looks like we didn’t need “long term“ after all. Best thing Dr. Mcdonell did was send us elsewhere. Would not recommend this doctor to anyone I care about.
