I had a phone appointment with this man after my previous Doctor left Wellspace Health. Me and my previous Doctor were working on getting the dose of my antidepressant back where it used to be before I’d switched to another medication that didn’t work out. He didn’t listen to me at all. Didn’t ask any follow up questions. It’s like trying to talk to a brick wall. I told him I wanted to increase my dose because my current dose wasn’t doing much for my panic disorder. I got off the phone confused, crying, and frustrated. At one point he mentioned god and started talking about how this happens to everyone, everyone gets depressed… Instead of increasing my dose for the foreseeable future, he decided to give me double the dose I’m on currently for two weeks only and then pretty much ended the call with no follow up instructions or anything. I’m beyond frustrated after finally getting into a treatment plan with my previous doctor to now not knowing what to do. I’m switching doctors.

He should not be practicing medicine, he doesn’t not care about his patients’ well being. I had an over the phone appointment with him, and since I have a history of heart issues and also high cholesterol I asked to get a referral to a cardiologist. He started arguing with me on why my request was unreasonable even though he could see I used to have yearly checkups with cardiologists on my chart. Next I asked to get a blood test and get my Vitamin D, B12, and Thyroid checked since my Psychiatrist asked me to do so, and he started questioning my mental health and said he doesn’t see on the chart that was from from 2019 that I had a psychiatrist and while I was explaining to him that I started seeing a psychiatrist in March of 2021 and I could sent her info so he could contact and make sure, he said goodbye while I was still talking and hung up on me. Extremely unprofessional.

I am a small nice girl and this man had me leaving his office in tears two different times. First, I was cheated on so asked for STD testing, I explained I had no symptoms just needed to be safe. He then got angry and yelled that I was only there to waste his time and sent me out without testing. The next visit I waited two hours to be seen he entered the room with attitude and refused to help me replace my birth control. His female staff then began to harass me for "walking out" while in tears.

Very unprofessional he should not be in practice at all. My mom has a stroke came out of a skilled nursing rehab. We were suppose to follow up with Dr.Goodwin to continue her care at Home. At the time of visit he could not answer nor give us advice on how to proceed with the care for my mom. I asked him to order the appropriate home health aid for my mom, after waiting 3 weeks just to hear from physical therapy Methodist outpatient therapy called just to tell us it's the wrong therapy she need.

This man should not be practicing medicine. In all my years, I have never encountered a health care professional as bad as this. It would be pushing it to call him a professional at all. My daughter went in after a stay in the hospital for pneumonia and he treated both myself and my daughter rudely. He did not assess her lungs, he was angry when we asked any questions, would not discuss her lab values with her, could not answer questions or would not answer questions that we had.
