Dr. Grace Anosike, OD

Dr. Anosike has a lack of bedside manner. Was 30 minutes late to the appointment, then rushed through the eye exam. Mumbled through the visit and was hard to grasp as person low of hearing with English as a second language. Provided no reassurance whatsoever regarding my vision concerns. Overall had a terrible attitude and will not be coming back as a patient.

The most annoying part is that an online glasses store said that her handwritten presription was unreadable, and I agree with them! Also, she even wrote the date wrong! During the exam, she didn't explain anything to me or ask me any questions. She looked as if she was a little impatient. My results were different from my last one, now having read other reviews, I decided to do another test because I don't think I can trust her now.

I went here for an eye exam years ago and had a perfect experience. I went this year and met a new doctor who seemed annoyed that I was there and rushed me through the exam. When I asked for an email of my prescription I was scoffed at and told “just take a picture of the one I gave you”. This was odd and unexpected because every other eye doctor I’ve been to had emailed me the prescription. After clarifying the numbers of her chicken scratch handwriting, I moved on. I ordered glasses online and my left eye is very blurry. I thought it was odd and then dug out my old prescription from 2021 from the old doctor here that I liked and the left eye is WILDLY different from my new prescription. I then had to pay out of pocket to get a new exam and the issue seems to be that my left eye axis was 80 degrees off. I had to send back my glasses, buy new ones which arrived today and work perfectly. I don’t understand how she can still be practicing if there are this many issues.

She does an eye exam in a few minutes max. She tried to give me the wrong prescription. When I told her my right eye was still blurry she said “That’s why you have two eyes.” Wish I had read her reviews before scheduling this appointment.

She was very unprofessional, terrible bedside manner and wouldn’t be surprised if she isn’t an actual Optometrist! If she is, she should have her license revoked for such a poor practice/eye exam. Stay clear of this “Doctor” at all costs!

Dr Anosike rushed through my eye exam. Never checked on my prior prescription and barely checked my vision. She told me my prescription improved from -6.5 to -5.75, giving me the wrong prescription that I had to get corrected from another optometrist. This person does not know what they are doing and can be dangerous to her patients. The wrong prescription could have cost me, especially while driving. Please avoid this doctor at all cost.

Please reach out to the Massachusetts Board of Optometry to notify them of your experience with Dr. Anisoke if you feel that your vision and ocular health may have been compromised at your exam.

I went to her/Cohen's because she was close to my house and covered by my insurance. Huge mistake. The office was basically a crawl space in the back of a mall eye store. The appointment was rushed with minimal tests. My health concerns were shrugged off and I have zero confidence in her prescription. Go elsewhere.

I think this doctor is either not qualified or not responsible---I was not able to tell which was the case. She rushed through the eye exam very quickly and did not do a thorough job in getting my prescription correctly. When I needed her help to figure out the direction of the new contact lens, she "cleaned" her two fingers under the water for half a second (literally) and started rubbing my lenses. I would not come to this doctor again and suggest others to avoid as well.

Dr. Anosike really helped me out. I came in with an irritation in my right eye. It was so dry that it hurt. She was able to treat it with a medicated drip that she prescribed. She also knew what the issue was right away. She gave me advice on how to avoid it in the future and so far so good!

I saw Dr. Grace Anosike on my lunch break. I let her know I had to hurry back to work but wanted a thorough exam so I could order prescription sunglasses. She was efficient but not rushed and had me in and out with what I needed before my break was up.

I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Anosike. Her office is clean, organized and well run. She handled my appointment efficiently, by going through an eye exam and fitting me with a wonderful pair of glasses. I have recommended her to my friends and family and they all love her as well.

Dr. Anosike squeezed me in last minute & tackled all my questions about my new contacts, some allergies I had been dealing with and even lasik with such clarity! I had to get back to the office and she was hands down the most efficient optometrist I’ve ever had an appointment with. Will be back when I need to & relieved none of my time will be wasted ??

Dr. Anosike was not very good at answering my questions and very unfriendly. She even wrote the wrong prescription for one eye. The receptionist got her to correct it, which she did without acknowledgement or apology. I would avoid seeing her.

Dr. Anosike was very rushed throughout my entire visit and was more concerned with asking me how I would pay. In fact, her first question was if I was paying out of pocket because my insurance was still being confirmed and she would not see me otherwise. She never introduced herself and ignored most of my questions during my visit. I would not recommend this provider to family/friends and would certainly avoid making appointments with her on future visits.
