Hannah Klein, CSW

I have seen Hannah for quite some time and as a therapist she is just adequate. I have had better and I have had worse. At times she is quite engaging and acts interested and other times she will do things on her computer as you are talking to her and acts completely uninterested and is clearly not listening to what you are saying which is quite disheartening. Often times I do not feel like I am processing anything with her and am coming up with my own solutions while she just nods along.

I have been seeing Ms. Klein for several years. She has been a great match for me and is the first therapist that makes me feel comfortable. I have seen therapist in the past who have made me feel ashamed or judged but her office is a safe space to be myself. She accepts me for who I am and has helped me understand and cope with multiple life changing things. I have referred many friends to her and because of her I am still alive. She talks to me like an equal and helps me feel confident.

Ms. Klein will no doubt remember me. I'm the patient she fell asleep on. And because I constantly find myself telling others about this experience I felt that others needed to be aware too. During your worst days this woman will not have advice, will not know what to say and will fall asleep and wake up talking about birds. I felt like I was interviewing her and would straight ask her what can I do, does she have any advice for this situation? No. None. She is strictly there to listen while not participating in conversation or offering any meaningful advice or solutions to your issues. While this incident is about 2 years old my conscience can not ignore other patients may face this issue. Please attempt to get help with another individual if possible.
