Worthless Excuse for Therapy
Beyond Collecting Information, he did less than zero to help my traumatized stepson any semblance of cognitive behavioral therapy. Just took my money and insurance payments. Would like to know for whom he was working?

Dr. Feinman is one of those people who you feel guilty when having a critical thought. He's genuinely pleasant, soft spoken and certainly non-judgmental; you would be happy to have him as a neighbor. However, the series of visits provided little solace and less constructive input - he listened but had nothing to contribute. And the end of the final session there was no summary, no conclusion, no results - just a handshake, a "thanks" and "good luck."

He is a very nice man but it's hard to connect with him. At times he doesn't know what to say or ask, and there's usually a long awkward silence for about 30 seconds and it's just a staring contest until he asks you something else. I've tried to give it a chance but after 5 sessions, it's time to move on. You basically have to do the talking, he doesn't ask you anything.
