My appointment was canceled by the CenterWell location because the N/P was out sick, I had to reschedule, on the next visit while sitting in her office, Hazel informed us (wife and myself) that she contracted the COVID virus. The first question she asked was “what are you going to do about your cancer”, I was stunned as I’ve never been tested for cancer, I didn’t answer her dumb question. In my next visit (telephone) to review labs for possible anemia, I was asked a cancer question again, “did anyone ever tell you, you have cancer”, again I skirted the topic and began to inform her of my concerns. Hazel stopped me abruptly and said “I don’t want to talk about that, my next appointment is here”. I needed a referral for a rash or bump on my right temple and made an appointment to be referred to a specialist, I was going to be a few minutes late, she canceled my appointment. I had to find a new primary care provider which is so inconvenient, never will go there again.
