Therapy Without Empathy: A Major Letdown
Telehealth
I had high hopes for this therapist, but unfortunately, my experience was deeply disappointing. From the start, I felt like my concerns were dismissed and I wasn’t given the space to truly express myself. The sessions felt cold and robotic, with very little empathy or understanding. Instead of feeling supported, I left each session feeling unheard and more frustrated. Therapy is supposed to be a safe and validating space, but this therapist made me feel the opposite. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone seeking a compassionate or genuinely helpful therapeutic experience.
