Heather Drager, PA-C

Heather has been better at listening to me than any other doctor I've had in 39 years of life. She is empathetic, understanding, and actually cares about her patients. I have had to wait an extra 5 to 10 minutes, but I know there have been times she has taken an extra 5 to 10 minutes to thoroughly make sure I'm okay and my questions have been answered, so I don't mind at all. I'd rather have a doctor who takes more time!

Heather Drager was the first PCP I ever had who took my symptoms seriously and worked hard to help me find answers to what was wrong with me. She was the first physician to suspect something actually going on with me, and it is thanks to her I have the diagnosis I have now. She always made an effort to give me a proper lecture on the whole "drinking water" thing, and I appreciate her for doing that.

Unnecessary attitude and complete lack of competence. Never returned urgent messages. Has no empathy or basic understanding of common diseases. Does not care if you can’t breathe. Totally missed diagnosed me or just ignored urgent issues. I don’t understand her purpose other than blocking access to healthcare.

I first saw Heather Drager P a at ABQ health partners in 2013 she is very knowledgeable about the health feild and my health problems and she took a lot of time with me she is my favorite PA and I had to track her down because she moved from ABQ health partners , now that I know where she is

Heather Drager is an excellent nurse practitioner. I have been with her for two years and have found my care from her to be well thought-out, well-coordinated, and she does a great job in identifying issues, referring to specialists, etc., while also making very accurate decisions regarding interim care while awaiting specialist support. She is grouchy from time to time, but if you don't take her tired/grouchy days personally, you will notice the quality of her service is no less for it.

Never returning here. Heather was awful and her MA Sally was completely rude to me and failed to send in paperwork for me to get my medication. After following up with her for almost 2 weeks she finally sent in paper work and I was able to get my medication within an hour. Makes me wonder if Sally ever sent the paperwork in the first place. The office staff is totally rude and incompetent. Heather barely spent any time with me and the whole visit felt impersonal and a complete waste of time.

Heather lacks professional and credible qualities desirable in a Physician Assistant. Not only did she take my blood pressure over my sweater (giving me an artificially high reading), she also failed to act as a decent human being while establishing a new health care provider connection. She didn't introducer herself and look me in the eyes with any sort of greeting upon our initial contact. She just stared at her clipboard and spoke too quietly to hear. I will not be going back to her.

Heather has been my primary since Sage started offering primary care. While I've had difficulties with administrative procedures at the clinic, Heather has often gone above and beyond to care for myself and other patients that I know.

She doesn't care about the patient, just wants to get you in and out of there and collect her money.

They do not properly check your insurance, my visit was coded incorrectly which caused me to be charged over $300 that should have been covered by my insurance and they refused to work with me to get it corrected. I should have known when all the other providers were booked out a month in advance that there would be a reason they could get you in so quickly. The rest of my experience was average.
