Dr. Heidi Chang, MD

I sustained a very serious injury (whiplash and traumatic brain injury) from Heidi Chang's services. She performed a high velocity neck adjustment with little regard to my medical history or an evaluation of my spine. - She did not do a full evaluation of me prior - did not request x-rays, did not ask any questions on my medical history, did not ask about injuries to other areas of my spine. - Did not explain what she was going to do to me - a really fast twist to my neck. - Walked me out of the office when I felt woozy and confused - she should have asked that I stay in the office until I felt better or assisted me in seeking medical attention. - Should NOT have suggested a second adjustment while I was already experiencing neurological symptoms as a result of her first adjustment. As a healthcare professional, she should have been able to understand and recognize adverse effects of her treatments and put aside her own ego to help the patient seek proper medical attention.
