I would go somewhere else!

I regret the day I walked into Mr. Ford's office. I went there trying to feel better and left every session feeling worse. He gave me no positive reinforcement and was very judgemental and unprofessional. He even suggested that he thought I was going to hurt myself after I showed some emotion. And when he called me the next day to "see how you were feeling." Aka CYA, I told him how insulted I was by that comment and that I felt he owed me an apology, he laughed at me and I hung up.

First time I spoke to Henry, I felt that he was a person I could trust. I do not see what the people who gave him a negative review saw. This man restored my hope. I would recommend him to anybody.

I had an outstanding experience with Mr. Ford. He is very talented at what he does and truly cares about helping his patients. I would definitely recommend Mr. Ford to friends or family.

I have never dealt with a more rude, condescending, unprofessional, unsympathetic individual in ANY circumstance, much less a crisis situation. My company hired Mr. Ford to serve as a grief counselor after a coworker took his own life. Ford was to conduct both one-on-one counseling and group sessions. Rather than discuss the matter at hand, Ford felt the best thing to do was discuss his practice and degrees and relay anecdotes not remotely related to the situation at hand. Go elsewhere for help

I'm over whelemed with joy. After seeing Dr. Ford I have a fence of solice and tremendous relief. He was down to earth and provided a great ear to vent to. It was a comfortable and judgement free enviornment. My experience with him has been nothing short of amazing!.

Mr. Ford helped me through a very tough time in my life. After a couple of times in his office I was able to get back to my job . No more panic attacks!

It was a very frustrating experience working with Henry Ford. He did not listen to reason or common sense. Took sides and made an already difficult situation even worse. I DO NOT recommend Henry Ford. There are plenty of qualified therapist in the Charlotte area to select from, he's just not one of them!

I have been seeing Mr. Ford for about 8 years. He has also seen members of my family also all with good outcomes. I find him personable and helpful in many situations I have presented to him. There have not been any problems with scheduling or wait times. I would recommend him to others needing help and counseling. Thank you Mr. Ford for your guidance.

Henry gives new meaning to the word counselor. He is incapable of listening as he constantly talks over what the patient is trying to say. Believes his perceptions are true regardless of reality & never takes criticism. He is never prepared & I feel totally inadequate as a therapist. During my time with Henry he constantly interrupted me with his own tales of accomplishments cutting into my time. Loves to hear himself talk...his rudeness is unacceptable. A total incompetent as far as I feel.

Does not listen or even care how his patient is feeling because he constantly interrupts talking over his client when said patient is trying to get his/her feelings across. Does not take criticism well...actually that's when everything goes downhill. Unprepared & quite uninformed as to patient's needs. Would never recommend him as he is completely devoid of empathy, lacks trust and above all doesn't Listen.

Provider did not tailor counseling objectives based on the individual case, it felt like a blanket response to the issue. Mentioned my prior therapist was inadequate as I had visited the provider for a long period of time, claimed he would have fixed the problem in less than that period. I do not believe in generalizations applying to individuals.

Doesn't listen, makes conclusions based on his perceptions not reality.

He did not listen to me before my son's appointment and actually was totally incompetent. Had he listened to me before we got there and understood why we were actually there, he may have been prepared. He wasn't. He kept interrupting us and made us feel we were inadequate as people, as a mom. Needless to say, my son left. I did as well. A horrible experience for my son and myself. This man should not have a license. You don't yell at a child who is suicidal and tell him he is an idiot.

Henry was an amazing counselor for me. I was suffering from debilitating depression after the loss of a relationship and the discovery that I had been cheated on. He was able to not only pull me out of it but make me feel good about myself again. I owe my much better place in life now to him. I would recommend him to anyone!
