his nurses are rude, don’t listen, mess almost everything up and they don’t understand that us as patients have mental instabilities that need to be handled differently than “normal” patients. I’ve been judged and scolded by each one over the phone because they think that everyone is just looking to take advantage of the medications but fail to realize that we are on meds to help us live our lives comfortably and without them our lives are at risk. there’s no communication between them and Herb. Herb has been the stability in my life and from day one, i came to him a mess crying and angry that i had to get a new psychiatrist. He simply treated me as a human and i immediately was comfortable with him as a human as he listened to me talking and to me, sometimes we just need someone to listen and follow thru with what YOU think is best for your mental health. one of the only real personable and understanding doctors i’ve come across to this day. 4 years, don’t plan on changing.

Routinely late, minimum of 10 minutes late. Numerous cancellations per provider within less than 24 hours, including provider not showing up for scheduled appointment without notifying patient service representatives. Not timely in responses to patients, even when instructs patient to call office to provide update. Casual and pleasant, however little inquiry or evaluation of specific considerations in patient's mental health and overall functioning. Prescribes medications (controlled substances) that may result in increased tolerance and physical dependence without frank conversation of seriousness of same. Dismissive of patient verbalization of concern of developing physical dependence on medication.

Pushes meds over prescribes addictive med, has a wall that he puts stuff that pts throw at him.
