Hillary Doussan, PA-C

I had a great experience with Ms. Doussan and the nurse and office staff. I was treated kindly and I sincerely appreciated the thoughtful care Ms. Doussan provided. She patiently addressed all my concerns and immediately provided the treatments I needed. She explained everything throughly, and answered questions I didn’t even know to ask. I’m very grateful for the care I received and will definitely return to her.

She did not communicate to me what to expect with the treatment options we decided on. I was given little to no information on what to do once we got home, which apparently was 100% needed because the treatment then caused burns to spread on my daughters skin and now having to do wound care on my 6 year old because of Hillary's lack of time and effort into explaining things at our appointment. Called a couple hours after my appointment with questions, left a v.m. for her nurse and never heard back from their office.

I have been a patient of Dr. Doussan’s for years. I find her to be caring and professional. She found the treatment I needed for my psoriasis while some of the most well known dermatologists In Pensacola never did.

Can never get a return call when calling her staff. Waited weeks to hear results of biopsy’s. One nurse that works for her is smart mouthed and not helpful. Waiting for another set of biopsy results from four weeks ago. Was promised one of the staff would get back to me that day. That was a week ago.

I have been to Hillary Doussan numerous times. She is very professional and knowledgeable, as well as friendly. She has always listened to my questions and had time to discuss my skin issues.

While initially good, I have been very unhappy with her hesitation to use the medication she previously prescribed to treat the same problem and at the same time, her staff has neglected to follow up on two different medications that she prescribed.

Had 2 appointments so far, no complaints. Average wait time, thorough treatment, detailed care and follow-up instructions. Pleasant experience.

Can I leave zero stars?! This woman compromised my psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis success because she failed to tell me she wanted a follow up appointment in 3 months. She stopped my medication delivery until she got her Co-pay. Unacceptable! When she finally got her co-pay, she left me waiting for 35 minuets to see her. She did this because I questioned her integrity. I signed up to see Dr. McMartin, not this quack with a God complex! Stay far away from this one!!!

Hillary did not spend much time with us and did not ask questions about past medications - what worked, what didn't. Wrote new prescriptions and did not explain how to apply, what they do, etc. I felt very rushed. We were the first appointment of the day.

To live with a chronic illness for 20+ years that is hard to treat is challenging enough. To be made to feel from this practitioner like a kind of nuisance because recent treatments have not worked and have actually worsened the condition is disheartening. To simply have an opinion on your own body and health and to be scolded for it is again wrong!. I left this clinic in tears because someone needs to work on bedside manner and empathy for her patients.I hope she learns.

Had 2 appointments, first one i sat in waiting room 20 minutes. No complaints about that. I wrote down wrong time and was 10 minutes on that was told had to reschedule.
