The first time I saw her for a sinus infection, I thought she was great. The next time I saw her for another sinus infection that turned into laryngitis, I was not impressed with her at all. I felt like she did not listen to me at all and made assumptions about me. She looked in my ears and said I need to stop using q-tips. I told her I didn’t use those and then she proceeds to tell me that I need to make more ear wax. Ummm excuse me? But how does a person do that? I don’t have control of how much ear wax my body makes. Then she goes on to ask if I eat late at night, drink a lot of caffeine, or eat spicy food. I said no I do not. Then she tells me I have acid reflux and tells me to stop doing those things (that I already said I don’t do). She then prescribes me reflux meds, a steroid, and an antibiotic. Well I don’t take the reflux meds because they actually gave me reflux, but the antibiotic did clear up my sinus infection. She did not care to listen to me at all.
