Holly Lien, LMFT

I’ve been meeting with Holly for several months now and I cannot say enough about how positive of an experience it’s been. Holly is skilled, so insightful, down to earth and cares deeply. Her approach is refreshing and has brought perspective to many areas of my life. I feel so grateful to have worked with Holly and highly recommended her as a therapist.

Holly's approach is refreshing and easy going. She is real and unintimidating. Talking to her feels like talking to a friend. She provides valuable insight and has been very compassionate and helpful when handling very hard topics. It is very clear that Holly cares about her clients, and takes the time to truly know and understand what you are facing. Highly, highly recommend!

I believe Holly listens to me. She provides great feedback, and offers coaching for how to work through situations when I ask for it. She doesn't offer suggestions unless I ask. I feel safe and supported during my visits. I have implemented some of her coaching, and have been glad with how things worked out using her coaching.

Holly has worked with our child through a very difficult high-conflict co-parenting situation. I am not the one who selected Ms. Lien, but in the past year she has managed the situation professionally and with integrity and has worked to build trust with our child. Holly is easy to talk to and relatable with her clients. There were few tools offered for suggesting behavior changes when discussing issues. Topics like 'I' statements were brought up but then never spoken of again and we would move to the next topic/issue. The lack of conflict resolution left me frustrated and hopeless, as though I was 'moving through the motions' and experiencing the 'typical' therapy experience heard about. Sharing your problems with a stranger but not seeing progress.

Holly is very welcoming and creates a safe and comfortable environment from the beginning. She has a great sense of humor and is honest when needed. I definitely would recommend Holly to anyone looking for a marriage and/or family therapist!

Absolutely, 100% LOVE Holly!!! I've moved distances away and yet still do sessions over the phone because her energy and caring self makes me not want to go anywhere else.
