Avoid couples therapy
I did individual therapy for awhile with Holly. It was okay, but then, when I finally convinced my spouse to go to therapy with me, things got weird. If you happen to be married to a narcissist/sociopath, you'll want to avoid couples counseling with Holly. Holly does not possess the skills necessary to see through the manipulations of this type of person. Therefore, Holly will end up taking sides with the narcissist; something a therapist should never do. Previous to this, in individual therapy, Holly was always "on my side". I guess it was all fake, because once my spouse showed up, Holly ended up speaking to me in a very one-sided and offensive way. I thought this was very strange and unfair since I was the one working so hard to get my spouse into counseling in the first place. Also, after a couple of years of promising to do intensive therapy to treat my PTSD, it just never happened. Overall, I would avoid Holly. But if you just want someone to talk to, she's fine.
